Fire + Ice New Years Eve and More!
This New Year’s Eve we’re kicking off a month long homage to Japanese tradition, with special food & beverage features, events, and our first ever themed Triangle Restaurant Week menu.
In Japanese tradition, there are five fundamental elements, the two most important being fire and water. Each winter, the Japanese celebrate the duality of these two elements in a festival of Fire and Ice. Fire, representing the energy of the human mind, and Ice, representing the constant flow of time and the world around us.
Mura is excited to partner with Bedlam Vodka to bring a North Carolina twist on this cultural event. Using a wood fire girl and unifying local ingredients with Japanese cuisine, we will bring the heat in the dead of Raleigh’s 2019 winter. Bedlam, and its local product, will be featured in cocktails mixed and poured over freshly chiseled ice that will be sure to chill even sitting fireside.
